August 13, 2014: Community Safety and Wellness Day: The Carrboro City Police and Veggie Van will visit Piedmont Health Services Corporate & Carrboro Community Health Services to help Piedmont Health Celebrate National Health Center Week. Safety issues will be addressed by the police and the Veggie Van will do cooking demonstrations with local vegetables, 2:00-5:00 pm.
August 14, 2014: Open House at Piedmont Health SeniorCare Pittsboro welcomes neighbors to celebrate National Health Center Week.

August 15, 2014: US Representative Howard Coble (including his Chief of Staff & Janine Osborne-Graham, NC Liaison), NC Representative Dennis Riddell (& wife Polly) & NC Representative Steve Ross and Mike Fenley, liaison for US Senator Richard Burr will attend this event. We will visit Burlington Community Health Center with Tiffany, Site Director for a brief tour and discussion on our work with children. We will move to Piedmont Health SeniorCare in Burlington to the Activity Room for a presentation to Congressman Coble on naming the Activity Room in his honor and other mementos to thank Congressman Coble for his support of community health centers and our PACE programs. 10:00-11:30 am.
September 23, 2014: US Representative Renee Ellmers will meet with Piedmont Health leadership at Siler City Community Health Center. This will be her 3rd visit to one of our CHCs.
US Representative David Price visited Piedmont Health Service’s corporate office on July 23, 2014 and Candidate Clay Aiken (US House of Representatives: Second District) visited Siler City Community Health Center on August 1, 2014.
